Step of Confession

What images come to mind when you think about confession? Sitting in a booth talking to a priest? Standing in front of a group of people? A talk in the kitchen? A counselor’s office? Jack Bauer from the show “24” threatening to cut off someone’s fingers if they don’t tell the truth? Admittedly, the last example was extreme and meant to make you smile. While it’s been said confession is good for the soul, it can be absolutely terrifying. Truthfully, confession is not something to fear, but rather embrace as a starting point towards freedom.
