The Offensive Gospel

Have you ever been reading your Bible and a verse or two just stood out? I mean, stood out for the wrong reason. You think to yourself, "I wonder what that means?" "Am I reading that wrong?" "Maybe I've missed something.”

What do you do when what you read just doesn't match up with what you thought you knew about God, Jesus, or the Bible? Our Children's Pastor, Josh Potts, helps us to think about how God’s word will either lead to offense or obedience. To do that we are going to look at an offensive story found in the Gospel according to Mark.
